Fox walked in to the cafeteria. Everyone was there. They were either
eating silently or talking quietly with others. Their blue scrubs
seemed to blend together. That’s all they got to wear.
Blue Scrubs.
Fox walked up to the cart to get his food. His eyes were sad and
down cast.
"And how are you today, Fox dear?" Greta smiled.
Greta had worked there, at Groove Tree Mental Facility, for as long
as Fox could remember. She was older, much older then Fox.
She was a sweet, kind looking old lady. Her white hair up inside
her hairnet. Her apron covered most of her pudgy body.
Fox answered her with a smile.
Greta smiled back, sadly. "If you would only talk, Fox honey, they
would let you go home. Ever since you got here, you must have been
thirteen years old, you haven’t said a thing."
Fox replied with a sad smile.
Greta smiled happily at him again, as she secretly slipped another piece of cake on his plate. Fox looked up at her.
"You didn’t think I would forget, did you?" giving him a mock
narrowed look. She kissed his head. "Happy birthday, Fox dear."
She looked up and down his body. Her hands at her hips, shaking her
Head slightly. "My, my I have watched you grow from a lanky little
Boy to such a handsome man…" she smiled.
Fox nodded his thanks and headed toward his usual spot.
After living at Grove Tree for so many years you form a cycle, a
Routine. And at lunch Fox always sat at that one spot. As he got to
It though, he saw a tiny, depressed redhead in the seat.
Fox stood in front of her, just staring. He wasn’t glaring or giving
Her a threatening stare. It was just confusion. He almost didn’t
know what to do.
It was a routine. Everyday he sat in that spot. An now…
He couldn’t see her face. She was slouched so her shoulder blade
Length red hair fell over her face. The man next to her,
Lenny, shoved her with is arm. She looked up an noticed
The small group people around them staring at her.
She also noticed a rather tall man standing directly in front of her,
Just staring.
"That’s Fox’s seat," whispered Lenny.
She looked around nervously, her cheeks filling with blood. Her eyes
Landed on Fox.
"I’m…I’m sorry." she whispered to him, quickly standing and hurrying
out of the room. Fox looked down at the vacant seat. He set down his
tray and turned to follow the little girl out the room.
"Fox? Fox?" Lenny called after him. Fox turned.
"Can I have your cake?"
Fox smiled and nodded.
As he got to the door, he stopped, grabbed a napkin and a pen Greta
Had lent him. She trusted him enough not to hurt himself. That’s
One thing he always loved about her. She realized that he didn’t
Want to hurt himself. That’s why his parents had kept him here.
He didn’t speak, so they assumed he was suicidal. He walked out into
The hall. He looked around, then he saw her. She was sitting on the
Floor, she hugged her knees, which were against her chest. She sobbed
Quietly against them. Fox walked up to her and wrote on the napkin
Handing it to her. She looked up nervously, her eyes wet and her nose
Red. She stood up and backed way from him timidly.
"I’m sorry, I took your seat. I didn’t know. I won’t do it again…"
Fox cut her off, by shoving the note in front of her.
I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you cry, you can take the seat if would like it.
She looked up at him. Fox was blown away by her smile.
"Thank you. I wasn’t crying over the chair, I just…" she stopped.
Fox grabbed the napkin, and wrote back.
Why were you crying?
Did she trust him enough? Was it wise to tell him? She looked at
His face. It was his eyes. His eyes made her want to hug him
And tell him her whole story.
"I…I want to go home…" she started to cry. Fox pulled her to him.
She sobbed into his shirt.
She pulled away and wiped her eyes.
"I’m sorry," she whispered.
Stop apologizing. It’s okay!
Dana read the note and laughed. She looked up at him still smiling.
"I’m sorry…I mean…okay."
Fox smiled at her.
What’s your name?
"Dana Scully."
Like Vin Scully?
She nodded. "Yup, like the Baseball announcer."
They smiled at each other. She shrugged.
"So…Do you have a name? Or should I call you: Really Nice Guy?
Fox Mulder.
"Foxxx Muuulder…", she tried it out on her tongue. "I like It.", she
smiled at him. He smiled back.
Good.
Fox turned to leave. Dana grabbed his arm. "Fox? Can I… I was
Wondering…why don’t you talk? I bet you have a beautiful voice."
Fox smiled.
Don’t want to
She looked at him strangely for a moment, then shrugged and smiled.
"Well okay, then."
A Few Weeks Later…
Fox walked up to the cafeteria.
"Fox! Fox?" Dana ran up to him quickly.
She placed her hand in his. "Anyway as I was saying yesterday…"
Dana talked constantly. Ever since the day Fox talked, well wrote,
To Dana on her first day at Grove Tree, she hadn’t been away from
Him for more then two seconds. The only time Dana left his side was
At night. Fox slept in the right wing. The right wing was full of
single beds, and doors. Of course, the doors don’t lock. Dana slept
In the left wing. You would bunk with another patient, there
were no doors and the windows had bars.
Fox sighed as Dana kept talking. He didn’t mind really, he thought
It was kind of cute, actually. As they got to the lunch tray,
Hand and hand, Greta gave him a sympathetic smile. Fox smiled
And shrugged back. Dana kept talking, oblivious.
Dr. Chaplin watched Dana converse with Fox. She hadn’t left him alone
Since she joined their little "family". Considering her condition,
This disturbed Dr. Chaplin. Dr. Brady ambled up to him.
"Anything wrong, Dr. Chaplin?" she asked.
"Have you seen Ms. Scully lately?" he asked her. Dr. Brady thought
for a moment. "Yes, I suppose I did. She the little one with Fox,
right?" Dr. Brady questioned. Dr. Chaplin scratched his chin.
"Yeah. I feel it my be unhealthy for her."
Dr. Brady looked shocked for a moment then chuckled,
"Why? It’s just a case of a silly crush!" Dr. Chaplin nodded.
"Exactly, that is what I’m worried about."
Brady looked at him for a moment. "Why are you afraid of that?"
Chaplin looked at her, "Do you know why Dana is here?"
Dr. Brady shook her head. Dr. Chaplin took a deep breath.
"Miss. Scully grew an…unhealthy…relationship with a teacher.
Not that he didn’t disapprove, he actually provoked most of the
Behavior. Well, Dana found out he was married. She lapsed into a
State of depression, then she started drugs and then…"
Dr. Brady finished for him. "Tried to kill herself." Dr. Chaplin
Nodded. "And I’m worried that the behavior may start again,
If this ‘silly crush’ continues."
"So what do you think, Fox?" Dana smiled. Fox nodded and smiled.
Dana sighed and looked down at the table. Fox looked down at her,
She looked up at him and smiled sadly.
6 Months Later…
The families piled in, hugging and kissing their children, husbands,
wives, and other family members. Dana looked tensely
around for Fox. She couldn’t find him. Then she saw him, she quickly
grabbed his arm and spun him around, only to jump back
timidly. An older man looked at her kindly.
"Can I help you, miss?" "No." Dana said fearfully.
She turned and kept looking for him.
She ran to his bedroom. He was there.
Dana ran up and hugged him tightly. Tears streaming her face. "Oh
God, where were you? I thought you left!" He rubbed her back. He
Wiped away her tears. Then Dana saw it. He was wearing jeans
and a T-Shirt. Not like her Blue Scrubs. "Why are you dressed like
that?" She asked; her eyebrows knitted together. Fox took her hand
and lead her out of his room. Outside the room stood a family of
three. A gray haired man, a white haired woman, and a little
brunette. It was obvious, this was his family. He was leaving
for the day. She was going to be left alone for the day.
The whole day…
He pulled out a piece of paper and his father handed him a pen.
Where is your family?
"After the…incident…my family doesn’t want anything to do with me.
Dana looked up at Fox though her eyelashes. She was hoping Fox was
Buying it. Fox smiled sadly at her, and then pulled her close.
"Is she coming along too?" the little brunette asked, a shining
smile plastered on her face. "Oh no," Dana lied, "I wouldn’t
want to intrude."
"Of Course not! Your welcome along! I’m Teena Mulder, this is
my husband Bill, and my daughter Samantha." Both Mr. And Mrs. Mulder
smiled at her. Samantha waved slightly.
"I’m Dana Scully, and I’m also not dressed…" Dana smiled slightly.
"We’ll wait, go get dressed!" Mr. Mulder smiled.
They spent the day traveling the stores and shops. Everything
Went well, until they stopped at a local restaurant. Dana, of course,
Took the seat right next to Fox.
Fox was eating quietly, listening to his sister Samantha relate her
Latest boyfriend problems to their mother, when he felt something
on his leg. Fox looked down to find Dana’s hand, gently massaging
his inner thigh. He put down his fork, and stared at her hand. Her
fingers gently moved up and down, up and down. Fox could feel his
eyes following them up and down, up and down. His breath
became shallow, he felt his forehead beaded with sweat.
"Fox? Honey? Are you okay?" Mrs. Mulder gave her son a
concerned look. Fox looked confused for a moment.
"Darling, you look sick. You’re flushed…"
Samantha cut her off, "Yeah Bro, you look like your going to pass
Out! You’re sweating and your breath is slow, and stuff."
Fox shook his head. Mr. Mulder looked unsure. "Are you sure, son?"
Fox nodded.
"Samantha, I’m going to the bathroom." Mrs. Mulder looked at Dana
then to Samantha. "Yeah. I’ll come to." Samantha followed her mother.
Mr. Mulder looked at Dana and his son, "Well, I guess I go to.
Husbands follow wives!" Mr. Mulder joked. He got up
And left. Leaving Dana and her wandering hands with Fox.
Fox finally looked up at her.
Dana looked at Fox under her eyelashes,
Her hand went farther up his thigh. It was so close.
So close, to the area Fox’s body begged to be touched.
"Do you like this Fox?" Dana whispered.
Fox sucked in a breath. And nodded.
She looked down; she could see the bulge in his pants.
"Is that for me, Fox?" She whispered playfully.
Fox couldn’t take it. He tried to move his
lower body into her hand. Ever time he got
close to touching his erection and her
hand she pulled back and laughed slightly.
Samantha washed her hands.
"Is there something strange about
Dana, Ma?"
Her mother looked up and smiled.
"No, I think she’s a sweet, little thing."
"Oh no! I think she is sweet too. She just seems…I don’t know…
attached to Fox a little much."
Mrs. Mulder smiled. "Oh, I think she is just fond of him. He is such
A handsome boy."
Samantha smiled and rolled her eyes.
Mrs. Mulder and Samantha laughed slightly as they left the bathroom.
Fox whined slightly.
"What’s wrong Fox?" Dana giggled naughtily.
Just then Mr. Mulder came back. Dana’s smile dropped quickly.
She pulled her hand away. He smiled at both of them.
"Sister and mother still not back yet?" Dana shook her head.
Fox was staring at his plate. Sweat beading his forehead.
The girls walked up to them. They smiled. "You guys ready it’s
Getting late. We got to get you guys back." Mrs. Mulder smiled.
Dana smiled. "Thank you so much, for letting me
Join you today."
They Smiled at her. "It’s no problem Dana, maybe you
Can come with us next time too." Mr. Mulder said.
That night Fox lay in his bed staring at the ceiling.
How could he let Dana do that today? He shouldn’t have let it get
Like that.
Dana sat in her bed, smiling to herself. God, it felt good to touch
Fox. Then she heard a commotion, a girl screaming. That happened
often in the crazy house. "Maybe tonight is the night!" Dana
Thought, with a smile on her face. She looked out the door.
She saw the nurses’ backs running down the hall. It was empty.
Dana looked at the counter with the security monitors on them.
No one was there.
Dana ran down to the right wing quickly.
Fox heard his door open. He sat up quickly.
Dana smiled seductively at him.
She walked up slowly, dropping her blue scrub pants. Fox’s breath
Became quick. She pulled off her shirt and tossed it to the floor.
"I’m glad you have your own room." Dana teased.
Fox eyed her body nervously.
She wickedly smiled. She got to the side of the bed.
She touched the top of her lacy white bra.
"Do you like it?" She asked him hopefully.
"I…I picked it for you." She said; her eyes flickered timidly.
Dana pulled the covers off of him. She hooked her fingers around
his pants. Unconsciously, Fox lifted his hips as
she slipped them off, his boxers following them.
Dana shaking hands touched her cotton white panties.
Her thumbs caught them. She gently tugged them down.
Fox sucked in his breath. She reached behind her, unhooking
Her bra, and tossed it to the floor. She straddled his hips.
Dana kissed him softly.
"I love you…" she whispered.
She slowly lowered herself onto him. Fox closed his eyes and leaned
His head back. Then he felt resistance. His head shot up. He looked
at her, her hands clasped his shoulders. Her eyes closed.
She was trying to gently ease herself onto him. He grabbed her
Back trying to help.
"No! No…I want to do this." She looked at him and smiled.
"I love you." She kissed him passionately.
She positioned herself above him again, took a deep breath and
Lowered herself quickly. Fox felt the barrier break, Dana didn’t
Scream, but Fox could see the pain on her face. Dana started to move
Up and down on Fox. "Fox. Fox. Fox." Dana said his name
Softly.
"I love you. I love you. Tell me you love me.
Please Fox. Please tell me you love me and will never leave me!"
Fox lay down fully on the bed. His breathing heavy.
"Oh God Fooox!" Dana whined. "Please talk to me!
Tell me you love me! Tell me you’ll always love me!"
Fox groaned slightly, then he felt a stinging on his cheek.
Dana slapped him again.
"Tell me you’ll love me forever!" tears streamed down her face.
She put her hands on his shoulders as she continued to thrust
down on him. Dana started to shake with the
unfamiliar and strange feeling of her first orgasm.
More tears ran down her face.
"Please Fox!"
"I LOVE YOU! OH GOD, I LOVE YOU DANA!"
Fox came hard.
Dana finished softly. "Oh, Fox, thank you. Thank you."
When she awoke Fox was holding her to him.
"What…what happened?"
Fox smiled gently. "You fainted, baby."
Dana smiled at him "How long…"
Before she could finish the door bust open.
Dr. Chaplin and a few nurses, including Nurse Greta.
"Fox, are you…" he gasped, covering his mouth.
Fox lay on back, Dana’s head on his chest, her breasts
pressed against his side. He was gently rubbing
her back. They both looked up quickly.
Dana grabbed the blanket and covered her breasts.
"I…I…uh…" Dr. Chaplin ushered the nurses quickly out
of the room.
Dana looked at Fox and began to laugh lightly.
Fox remained stone faced. She kissed his still lips.
"I love you." Dana sighed contently. "Never leave me,
Fox."
Fox remained silent. Dana became nervous.
"Fox? Fox? You’ll never leave me, right?"
Fox snapped out of his musings. He looked at her.
He looked at her worried eyes. He felt his heart clench.
"No, baby. I’ll never leave you." She rested her head peacefully
on his chest again. He petted her head. "I’ll always love you, Babe.
Always."
With that they both drifted off to sleep.
Dr. Chaplin rubbed his face roughly.
"Shit! What am I going to do Maryland?"
Dr. Brady shrugged.
"I mean, Jesus, we need to get her away from him,
but…I can’t do that to her!"
Dr. Brady looked at him.
"James, I think even though
she is very much…enthralled with
Fox, I think it would be the best decision to separate them."
Chaplin nodded.
A Week Later…
Dr. Chaplin called Fox over the intercom.
As Fox got to Dr. Chaplin’s door, he turned to Dana, who had
Followed him, arm and arm.
"I’ll be right back."
Fox entered the room.
An Hour Later…
Fox quietly left the room.
When he left, he had discovered Dana had,
Most likely, been forced to bed.
The next morning Fox awoke to a fuss outside
in the hall. Fox walked out to see nurses
trying keeping Dana away from his room.
"Let me go see my BOYFRIEND!"
"I’m sorry Miss. Scully, we can’t."
"What? Why? Fox? Fox! Help me!
Fox walked up to Dana.
Dr. Chaplin walked up from the other side.
"Dana, I need to talk with you."
Fox cut in. "Doctor, I want to…"
Dr. Chaplin raised his eyebrows in an unconvinced way.
Dana walked up to Fox.
"Fox? What?"
Fox cupped Dana’s hand in his kissing it several times.
He looked her square in the eyes. "I love you.
You know I…love…you." He punctuated each
Word with a kiss, "but for you health,
You and I, we…can’t be together anymore.
We can’t even see each other anymore."
Dana started to cry. Her sadness turned to anger, she ripped her
hand out of his.
"How could you?! You told me you would never
leave!" She started to pound on his chest. That is when the commotion
started. Dr. Chaplin and two large social workers
in white outfits tried to pull her away. Fox tried to grab her hands.
Everyone seemed to be talking at once.
The doctor and the social workers trying to tell her to let go.
Dana shouting at Fox.
Fox trying to explain.
"Dana, let go of Fox! It will be okay!"
"How could you?! I love you! I gave myself to you!"
"Please Baby! I love you, you know that! It’s to help you,
baby!"
The social workers finally pulled her off.
One grabbed her around the waist from behind, leaving her legs
Kicking at Fox.
They pulled her away.
"How could you? You were supposed to be the one who loved me!
You liar! You’re all liars!"
Fox watched Dana being pulled away.
Fox knew where they were going; they were taking her to the volcano
Room. It was a padded room for "angry" patients.
Soon, it was just Fox and Dr. Chaplin.
Fox grabbed his head, he sunk to the ground.
He began to sob. "Dana, I’m sorry. I’m sorry." He whispered to
Himself. "Fox, it’s okay." Dr. Chaplin walked up to him.
He rubbed his back. "It’s helping her. I promise."
"Dr. Chaplin?" Fox whispered.
"Yes Fox?"
He looked up at him. His eyes puffy and red.
"I want to go home now."
Dana lay crying on the padded floor.
Why did he lie?
He said he’d love her forever.
"Liar." She whispered fiercely. He never loved her. He lied.
Just like Daniel.
He was married. Maybe Fox was married…
No! He couldn’t be! She wouldn’t fall for that again.
Dana started to cry again.
She loved him…
Who was she kidding? She still did.
6 Weeks Later…
Fox slipped on his coat.
He stood in front of the door. He took a deep breath.
Greta patted his shoulder. Fox turned. They smiled at each other.
Before Fox could stop himself his face scrunched up. Tears started
To fall. Greta hugged him tightly, Fox rested his chin on her
Shoulder.
She rubbed his back. Giving him comforting "ssshh’s".
"I hurt her, Greta. I love her, and now she hates me."
"Fox, you did it to help her! You love her.
She knows you do.
Your helping her Fox…and when she’s better
You to can get married and have loads of children."
Greta laughed. Fox wiped his eyes and teased,
"Who can then, end up here."
Greta smiled.
"Thank you Greta, you have always been there
for me. Thank you, I love you." They hugged.
"I love you too, honey."
Fox walked up to Dr. Chaplin.
He stuck out his hand.
Chaplin smiled and grasped Fox’s hand.
"Thank you, Fox. I’ll miss you."
Fox smiled sadly. "You too.
Dr. Chaplin? I was wondering…
When will I be able, see Dana again?"
Dr. Chaplin looked at the floor, and pursed his lips.
"Fox, I can’t make you do anything but, I think it best, for Dana,
if you don’t see Dana until she is ready to leave Grove Tree."
Fox looked crestfallen. "When could that be?"
Chaplin took a deep breath and fixed his glasses.
"Could be years, Fox." He patted him on the shoulder.
Fox nodded forlornly. He sighed and picked up his bags.
"Bye Fox!" Lenny waved. Fox smiled.
"Bye everyone…" with that Fox left Grove Tree Mental Institution.
4 Years Later…
Dana hugged Dr. Chaplin and Dr. Brady.
"Thank you Doctors. Thank you so much."
Dana smiled, her eyes glassy. "I’ve learned so much, thank you."
Dr. Brady smiled. "You’ve very welcome Dana, but YOU did it."
Dana smiled and hugged them both again.
With that Dana left Grove Tree Mental Institution.
2 Weeks Later…
Dana stood at the door. The metal 42 hung poorly.
Dana’s shaking hands smoothed her hair and shirts.
She knocked softly. She heard a loud bang, then a baritone
"Ouch! Shit…"
The door opened and there he stood.
He had filled out. He was muscular. His face had matured.
He was even more gorgeous then before.
His hair was wavy and slightly long. He also had a goatee.
His, ever changing, eyes widened.
"Dana?"
She pushed down her hair again. She was so nervous.
She had gotten a hair cut before she came. Now it was shorter,
it went a little lower then her shoulders.
"Hi…" she whispered. She gave him a small smile.
"Fox? Who is it?"
Dana heard a woman’s voice.
Then she saw her. She was very mature looking, long brown hair,
She had a great body. She was thin, had even hips,
and large breasts.
Dana’s smile dropped. Fox turned and smiled widely.
"A great friend, Diana. Come in Dana!"
Fox hugged her and pulled her in to his apartment.
Diana looked sternly. Her mouth turning into a straight line.
Before Fox could help himself he caught Dana’s lips with his.
He pushed his tongue though her lips, raping her mouth.
His goatee scratched he face slightly.
They pulled away. Dana was trying to catch her breath.
They were staring at each other smiling.
Diana cut in.
"Fox? Do you want to let me know who this is?"
Fox finally broke his eyes away from Dana’s.
"Huh? This is Dana Scully. She’s my 1 in 5 billion…" Fox smiled
back at Dana.
"Look Diana. Can we finish this tomorrow I got
to…" he looked Dana suggestively, "do
some catching up with Dana."
Diana frowned, and shrugged, pretending not to care.
"Fine…" She packed up and left.
Fox looked at Dana, he kissed her hair.
"Do you love me? I love you." Fox whispered seductively.
Dana hands touched his chest.
She closed her eyes, her voice soft and ruff at the same time.
"Yes…I love you."
Fox smiled and pulled her into his bedroom.
"Uhhh…Oh GOD! Fox, I love you! I…I…God Fox!"
Dana came crying out.
"Oh, Dana! Oh, Baby Doll! God YES!"
Fox gave a few more uneven thrusts and rolled of Dana.
He rolled back to her kissing her slightly,
Then laid back and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
He slipped off the used condom, throwing it at the trashcan.
He pulled out a cigarette from the nightstand.
He lit it and took a drag.
"God Dana, what you do to me…"
Dana turned to him, "You smoke?"
Fox smiled and looked at her. He teased, "Only after
Fantastic sex, with a beautiful women."
Dana teased, "Have you smoked a lot of cigarettes?"
Fox tapped his cigarette on his ashtray.
"No, I have smoked a little but nothing…nothing was like you, Dana-Doll."
Dana gave him a silly look. "‘Dana-Doll’?" Dana giggled.
Fox smiled back. "Yeah, Dana-Doll. You’re so small, and delicate,
like a doll. My Dana-Doll."
Fox put his cigarette in the ashtray. Dana smiled, "I like it."
Fox moved atop her as he whispered seductively, "So do I…"
He kissed her passionately.
The Next Morning…
Fox was finishing coffee when Dana walked out. Her hair was mussed,
her face showing signs of sleep.
The best part was the only piece of clothing was
his shirt.
Fox’s eyes raked up and down her body, he smiled appreciably.
Dana smiled and looked down embarrassed.
"You look beautiful."
Dana scoffed. "Yeah right."
Fox called her over with by bending his finger.
Dana walked over; he wrapped one of his arms around
her waist. He kissed her temple.
"Fox?"
"Hmm? What Dana-Doll?"
"What happens now?"
Fox put down his coffee he pulled her over to the table.
He sat down, pulling her down so she sat on his knee.
He looked at her, "Well, Dana-Doll… Next we catch up some more."
"Then?"
"Then…well Dana-Doll, then we get married. How does that sound?"
Dana started to tear up. She smiled.
"It sounds good to me Fox."
